Section 4 (1) (b) of RTI Act 2005 covers the statutory declaration of K.K.Das College, GRH -17, Baishnabghata-Patuli, Kolkata - 84. Our college is affiliated to the University of Calcutta, Kolkata and aided by Govt. of West Bengal. It runs as per the rules and regulations made by the UGC, University of Calcutta and Govt. of West Bengal. The College comes under “Grant-in-Aid” category; hence all financial transactions are audited by the Government. The college has a Governing Body, IQAC and other Sub-Committee to maintain all types of discipline in the college. All cells and committees of the college falls under the purview of Section 4 (1) (b) of RTI Act 2005.
The applications under the RTI Act along with a Non-judicial postal stamp for Rs. 10.00 obtained in favor of State Public Information Officer (SPIO), K.K.Das College may be sent to the same by mail or handed over her on any college working days. All information about the college is open for the public and it can obtained by citizens of India.
